Eligible production scopes
The 5× mechanism has hard conditions.
The client finance owner must sign the KPI, baseline, counter, attribution rule, quality limits and measurement window before build.
If the signed KPI fails within those limits, the maximum cash refund is 20% of the defined fee base F. F excludes managed run, third-party and infrastructure pass-through costs, taxes, success fees and changes outside the measured scope.
If the conditions do not pass, the engagement stays fixed-fee without the 5× mechanism.
